Looking for an experienced butcher with at least 3 years of experience. Must be able to work independently. Must have great knife skills, work safely with all machinery, and be able to work together as a team. Job requires ability to handle heavy loads, work in cold/refrigerated environments and standing for extended periods of time.
Commitment to safety and quality processes is a must.

Duties consist of:
– Clean meats to prepare them for processing or cutting
– Cut poultry into parts, and cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
– Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood
– Remove bones from meat
– Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products
– Cut carcasses, sides and quarters
– Weigh meats for sale
– Safely use slicing machine, salami mixer and cooker, power grinders, band saw
– Keep surfaces clean and sterile
